letter to myself from when i was 13
I started cleaning my bookshelf and stumbled upon a letter I wrote to myself when I was a freshman in high school. Funny, since I was talking about this with a friend a couple weeks ago! Anyway, here’s some things that caught my attention…
- I was rocking the baby blue Jordan XVII’s.
- My favorite bands were Rufio and New Found Glory.
- My CD player was currently playing the Toxicity album by SOAD.
- Apparently, I was hella nervous for basketball tryouts.
- My parents grounded me from going to PC Cafe’s (G-Zero).
- My two biggest goals my freshman year was to get straight A’s and make the basketball team. (At least I accomplished one of those things hah)
- “I don’t think I would ever lose the love for the game [basketball].” Dang, things change :[
- meeting girls…hahahaha wow.
- Don’t join a gang, do drugs and alcohol, work at McDonalds. check, check, check.
The last line of my letter…
“And hopefully I can keep the friends I made during high school, and keep in touch with them.”
